All of the objects in Arms & Armour gallery are made of wood, metal and leather, ie. there are no
synthetic materials like plastic or resin. They are made to withstand the of film and recreational
use. They are manufactured in different parts of the world and made to resemble the originals as
closely as possible. If an object has been manufactured out of a modern material, ie. for film use,
and for example made of aluminum, it will be clearly stated.
Unless otherwise stated all weapons should be assumed to be blunt, for example semi - sharp
or sharp will be used to describe an object with an edge.

All helmets come in a medium or a large size. If you are in doubt you can specify your head size in centimeters and we can check. The linings are padded and any helmet can be fitted with mail aventail in either round or flat section rivetted. The cost is an extra £ 100. Specify the type of mail. For LARP we can fit aluminium aventail but bare in mind these are heavy duty combat helmets.
VIKING AGE AND MEDIEVAL RIVETTED CHAINMAIL, FLAT SECTION
These shirts weigh approx. 9,3kg (much lighter than most rivetted mail). They are strong and light with deep sleeves to allow very good arm movement or fitting over a gambeson. The average shirt is knee-length but they can be as long, short or small as required.
